Charities Benefit from Atkinson's Annual Holiday Giving Campaign

Seattle, WA - Atkinson offices throughout the Puget Sound region rallied to support two local charities—Ryther Child Center and Northwest Harvest.

Ryther Child Center: Established in 1885, Mother “Ollie” Ryther promised never to turn an orphan away. Fifty years and 3,000 children later, Mother Ryther said, “The essential thing is to love the children and understand them.” Today, these sentiments still guide Ryther’s work, and they have become one of the region’s most enduring nonprofit organizations. Atkinson employees purchased Christmas gifts for 30 children at the Ryther Child Center in north Seattle.

Northwest Harvest: Northwest Harvest is Washington's own statewide hunger relief agency. Their mission is leading the fight for hungry people statewide to have access to nutritious food while respecting their dignity and promoting good health. Altogether, Atkinson donated 1,853 pounds of food and $325 in cash to needy families!
