Renton Students Receive Christmas Gifts

Renton, WA - Communities in Schools’ (CIS) mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Many of CIS’ families struggle day to day just to provide the basics of food, shelter, and clothing for their children. In Renton last year, CIS site coordinators helped 7,949 students overcome barriers to success, stay on track to graduate, and aim for a brighter future. This December, Atkinson sponsored 50 students and siblings that live in Renton. Employees purchased and wrapped gifts for each of the children to fulfill their holiday wish lists and ensure each had a very Merry Christmas!
